crazy past couple of days

Well Matthew's appointment went well. I am so proud of my little man. He was so brave during the testing on his back. I am blessed with healthy kids so that was the hardest thing I've had to do with him:( Well he has no food allergies:) He can swim in the ocean!! He has sensitivities to grass, dust mites, pollen and mold. What a relief! After talking with the allergist hives are not that scary anymore.
I have also been dealing with family stuff too. My mom is in the hospital:( She was missing (to me) for a day and a half. Come to find out she is in the hospital. She is confused and the doctors don't want her alone unsupervised. So she is going to rehabilitation then they will assess the situation there. It is possible she had a seizure. I am hoping that is it and she does not have dementia. Her oxygen levals were low too. So maybe it is that. I don't know, prayers please.

Allergist

Matthew goes in at 11 to see the allergist. Hopefully we will find out what is making him breakout in hives. Since he loves science and experiments we told him the doctor is going to do science experiments on him to see what he is allergic too. That made him somewhat excited.

10 Reasons I am Glad to Have Aspen Home During Spring Break

1. Watching her go outside to help her brother in an unfairly matched game of hide and seek.
2. Having no soccer practice and getting dinner on the table at a decent time.
3. Someone who can get the T.P. for me when I am stuck without.
4. Jammin to music in the car.
5. Hearing the upbeat music of the Wii game she has decided to play NON STOP.
6. Having help buckling 2 car seats and a booster seat.
7. Having her amazed and complimenting my card writing skills:)
8. We are looking forward to LTC, and if she wasn't in it we wouldn't be apart of it.
9. Giving each other knowing looks during a really boring video.
10. Finally waking her up w/hugs and kisses (even though I was informed she is to old for that).
11. I know the title says 10 but I didn't want to take any out and 11 is not as catchy.......Seeing Aspen and Matthew get along so well.

Just when you think you know someone!

I thought after 10 years together I knew my husband pretty well. He surprised me the other day when he told me he was writing a poem about our son. I was like wow. I looked on the computer for it tonight and I cried:) The title is Loving Him the Matthew. It talks about some of the things they do. How did I end up so blessed?

Joining the blogging world:)

I have been wanting to start a blog for a while. So I am finally just jumping in! This will be a place to share happenings with my family. I figured out how to make my blog pretty now I need to figure out how to make it interesting!
I ordered some movies for the kids for Valentine's Day. I want to TRY to get away from the candy for every holiday. Every holiday has such fun candy offered just for that holiday! We are still eating candy from Christmas! Okay I have to admit we just DISCOVERED candy from Christmas. I bought it as gifts to mail to my nephews and it was hidden in the closet. Note to self: find a new hiding place for presents before Matthew's birthday. Anyway, I hid it and forgot about it. So the kids have been enjoying Ring Pops and Kit-Kats with Christmas designs on the label. I can't mail that!! I will have to get some Valentine's candy to mail. Ummm what was I saying about no more candy!
